Since its debut in 2001, the Nifty Fifty remains a popular staple among attorneys and marketers when designing a law firm web site. The Nifty RETURNS with all-new "nifty" components on law firm web sites that go beyond the basics of bios, practices, offices and news. The "50" continues to raise the bar in online business development.

ABOUT MICAH'S NIFTY 50...

Introduced for the first time in January 2001 at a national law marketing conference, "Micah's Nifty 50" is now used by many law firms and web developers as a tool to monitor the progress of originality and commitment to successful web sites in the law firm market. In the four years since the 50 was created, IMA has received more than 1,000 nominations from around the globe.

The rules are the same. The "50" encompasses a variety of law firm web site feature examples that go beyond the basics of standard development. This list is intended as a supplement to the InternetMarketingAttorney.com law technology seminars, given to groups and associations throughout the country. Remember, inclusion in the "50" does not necessarily mean the site is outstanding, but that a feature or component is in some way unique or different than the general law firm web site. Continue to consult the "original" and "next" nifty lists to choose from more than 200 total examples.

In year one, the list only provided the general web site URL for the firm. You had to find the nifty component on your own. In year two, we offered direct links, which proved painful. Many of the links from the first two years are dead. So, do some surfing to find the component, if it still exists. Year Three and Four goes back to offering the main web site URL in most cases. The feature description will attempt to show you where you need to look.
